Prime Minister Rosen Zhenyazkov began his official two-day diplomatic mission in the Republic of Moldova, arriving in the capital Chisinau for a series of strategic meetings and negotiations.
During the welcome ceremony in front of the government building, initial bilateral talks were held with Moldovan Prime Minister Dorin Recean. The delegations discussed key issues, including Moldova's European perspective, the status of the Bulgarian community, and the potential for deepening economic cooperation.
As part of the visit, a trip to the city of Taraclia is planned, where Zhenyazkov, together with Minister of Education Krasimir Valchev, will meet with local authorities. One of the main highlights is the ceremony for signing an agreement to transfer ownership of the premises of the branch of Ruse University "Angel Kanchev".
The program of the Bulgarian statesman also includes meetings with President Maia Sandu and Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu. As a gesture of respect for Moldovan history, Rosen Zhenyazkov will lay a wreath at the monument of Stefan the Great - a national hero symbolizing the statehood of the country.
The official visit is seen as an important step in strengthening bilateral relations between Bulgaria and Moldova, with an emphasis on mutual understanding and prospects for future cooperation.
