During the 47th session of the World Heritage Committee, taking place from July 6-16 in Paris, Bulgaria realized a major international cultural initiative. The specially organized screening of the documentary film "Treasures of Bulgaria" attracted the delegates' attention with an impressive narrative strategy.

The presentation was officially presented by Minister Miroslav Borshosh and the renowned researcher Prof. Bettany Hughes. The film masterfully presented the country's rich cultural heritage – from the picturesque Rhodope Mountains and Black Sea coast to ancient monasteries and authentic folklore traditions.

The main focus was placed on the sites included in the UNESCO World Heritage List – such as the remarkable town of Nessebar, the impressive Kazanlak Thracian Tomb, and the majestic Rila Monastery. Through this approach, Bulgaria demonstrated its consistent commitment to preserving and promoting cultural monuments.

The strategic goal of the initiative is to strengthen international cultural tourism and attract global interest in Bulgarian historical landmarks.
