The prestigious Bulgarian folk choir "The Mystery of Bulgarian Voices" will realize a major musical event in the Irish capital. The concert is scheduled for September 25, 2025, at the National Concert Hall, which was officially confirmed by the Bulgarian Embassy in Ireland through their Facebook page.

The musical performance will mark the beginning of the New Traditional and Folk Music Festival in Dublin. On stage will be the renowned Bulgarian singers together with conductor Georgi Andreev, international formations Quartet "Cuarto" and vocal quartet "Landless".

The concert, titled "Voices and Strings", will present an innovative musical program. Included are new compositions created specifically for choir and string quartet by Georgi Andreev, as well as reinterpreted classical folk works.

The ensemble's history dates back to 1952, when it was founded on the initiative of Georgi Boyadzhiev - then chief editor in the "Folk Music" department of the Bulgarian National Radio. The formation is known for its authentic performance of Bulgarian folk works.

The upcoming performance promises to be an impressive encounter between the traditional Bulgarian musical school and contemporary interpretations, which will enchant the international audience.
