The Bulgarian women's basketball team demonstrated exceptional scoring during their second match of the European Championship for women under 20 years old in the Hungarian city of Miskolc, completely dominating against the Danish national team.
Under the guidance of coach Margarita Marinkova, the team achieved a convincing victory with an impressive score of 101:57, which eloquently illustrates the superiority of the Bulgarian players.
In the first ten minutes of the match, the Bulgarian team managed to build a solid advantage of 17 points with an interim score of 34:17. The pace and control of the game were entirely in their favor, with the difference growing to over 20 points by halftime.
The statistics show exceptional team play, with five players who managed to score double-digit points. Yana Karamfilova stood out as the leading scorer with 19 points, followed by Silvia Milenova and Ivana Boneva, who added 15 points each.
For the Danish team, Emily Borges-Mikkelsen was the most productive with 10 points, which however failed to compensate for the overall superiority of the Bulgarian team.
This victory practically secures Bulgaria second position in group "A", with the team sharing second place with Denmark - both teams have one win and one loss. Serbia remains the group leader with two victories, while Albania has no success.
In the last round of the group stage on Monday, Bulgaria will face the Albanian team, which was earlier defeated by the Serbian team with 22:116. In parallel, Denmark will play against Serbia, with the first two teams from the group qualifying for the quarter-finals.
