Bulgaria joins the European Stability Mechanism

The caretaker government is submitting the ESM treaty for ratification. The cabinet is allocating 22 million euros for kindergartens in Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, and Burgas.

Bulgaria takes an important step towards financial stability

The caretaker government has decided to submit to the National Assembly the agreement for Bulgaria's accession to the European Stability Mechanism (ESM). Finance Minister Georgi Klisurski described the measure as a "life insurance" for the financial health of our country.

The European Stability Mechanism is an international financial institution that ensures the financial security of member states in the eurozone.

Investment in the future: 22 million euros for kindergartens

In addition to joining the ESM, the cabinet also approved targeted funding for the construction of kindergartens in the four largest cities:

The total amount of 22 million euros is aimed at completing priority projects. According to Minister Klisurski, one-third of children in Bulgaria are educated in these municipalities, and the shortage of places is most noticeable there.
