The Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs supports Donald Trump's plan to cease hostilities in Gaza, calling for pressure on Hamas and humanitarian aid. Bulgaria sees this as a path to peace in the Middle East.

Bulgaria expressed its support for the specific plan of US President Donald Trump, aimed at ending the military actions in Gaza. The reaction from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) came through a publication on the social network X, in which Israel"s rapid and positive reaction to the proposal was also noted.

The plan, presented by US President Donald Trump, includes 20 specific points aimed at ending the conflict in the Gaza Strip, which opposes Israel and "Hamas". At the same time, the plan also affects the future of the Palestinian territory, opening the door to possible solutions to one of the longest-lasting conflicts in modern history.

The MFA emphasized the need to use this "real opportunity" to achieve peace. The ministry called on regional partners to put pressure on "Hamas_q_ to implement the plan without delay. The urgent request is for an immediate ceasefire, the unconditional release of the hostages, and a permanent end to military actions.

Furthermore, the MFA highlighted the vital importance of humanitarian aid for the population in Gaza. Immediate, unhindered, safe, and lasting humanitarian access to the region is needed to alleviate the suffering of the civilian population. The ministry emphasized that it is entirely possible for Gaza to be governed free from violence and terrorism.

In conclusion, the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed confidence that the path to a just and lasting peace in the Middle East is a common goal. In this direction, Bulgaria will work together with the United States, its European partners, and the countries of the Middle East to achieve a lasting solution to the conflict.
