The Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Bulgaria and Moldova discussed new partnership mechanisms. Trade volume increased by 28.2%, reaching $155 million.

New horizons for business between Bulgaria and Moldova

Representatives of the chambers of commerce and industry of Moldova and Bulgaria held key discussions aimed at expanding economic cooperation between the two countries. The main focus is the realization of joint projects that will bring benefits to the business communities.

The talks were aimed at finding new mechanisms to support companies and facilitate direct contact between entrepreneurs.

Data for 2021 show that Bulgaria holds a strategic position as Moldova's 15th largest trading partner. Total trade reached 155 million dollars, representing a remarkable growth of 28.2%. Moldovan exports to Bulgaria amounted to 77.8 million dollars, while imports from Bulgaria were worth 77.2 million dollars, demonstrating a balanced partnership.
