The results of the second blood test confirm the use of drugs by the ATV driver in Sunny Beach

Sofia – The results of the second blood test of 18-year-old Nikola Burgazliev, who caused a serious accident in August, hitting five people with an attraction ATV in the popular resort of Sunny Beach, have been received. The investigation revealed that the driver was under the influence of drugs while operating the vehicle. This was announced by the Bulgarian National Television (BNT).

The second sample, taken in Varna, was done at the insistence of Nikola Burgazliev's lawyer. This followed the announcement of the results of the initial blood test, which showed traces of marijuana in the young man's body.

Nikola Burgazliev is accused of causing death after the accident, as well as inflicting bodily harm on several people. The incident, which took place in Sunny Beach, led to fatal consequences for 35-year-old Hristina, who fell into clinical death and subsequently died.

After a prolonged fight for life, Hristina's 4-year-old son, Martin, who spent a long time in a coma, was discharged from "Pirogov" hospital. Doctors in Burgas and Sofia made exceptional efforts to save the child's life. Two children, as well as an employee of a nearby hotel, were also injured in the accident. The events left a deep mark on the resort, witnessing the drama of what happened. Witnesses share the heavy atmosphere at the scene after the incident, with shock and horror visible on people's faces.
