Bulgaria's army is using drones to keep a closer watch on the Black Sea coast and the air and sea around it, the Defence Ministry said.
The ministry warned residents that drones seen over the shore may be part of the stepped-up surveillance.
Extra security measures are in place along Bulgaria's Black Sea coast. The ministry said the flights are a precaution and should give timely information on the situation in the area.
