The warmest spot in Bulgaria this morning was along the southern Black Sea coast, where the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology measured 18 degrees in Ahtopol.
The lowest reading at 9am was on Cherni Vrah peak, at minus 2 degrees. Dragoman saw 4 degrees this morning, Sofia 6, and Plovdiv and Blagoevgrad 7 each.
Temperatures varied widely between regions this morning. Readings near the coast were also high, with 15 degrees in Varna and 14 in Burgas. The institute recorded 13 degrees in Stara Zagora and 8 in Ruse.
