DZI is the insurer that staff at trusted car repair shops in Bulgaria recommend most often, a "mystery shopper" survey by clientX shows. UBB announced the finding.
64% of those polled said they would recommend DZI — almost double the share in the previous survey from 2024, and 41% higher than the insurer that came second.
The survey ran from March to June and covered 91 repair shops in Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Burgas, Veliko Tarnovo, Dobrich and Haskovo. The shops and cities were chosen to match the needs of claims teams. More than 82% of those polled said that if they needed repairs themselves, they would leave their car at the shop they had visited.
Garage staff pointed to good organization, fast claims filing and damage assessment, quality repairs, the company's financial stability, and fair handling of claims and payouts.
With DZI car insurance, customers can file and assess a claim online, with the car checked remotely using artificial intelligence, so there's no need to visit an office. That means claims get processed and settled faster.
DZI says the results show its teams' work is paying off, with growth across all main measures. "For us, trust is built at every stage of the claims process," the company said. It said the numbers show its goal of simpler processes, more transparency and better service is working, and that this is winning more trust from customers and partners.
