Emergency call statistics for 112
A total of 5729 regulated calls were registered on the single European emergency number 112 over the past 24 hours, the 112 National System Directorate at the Ministry of Interior reported. The report also includes two cross-border calls.
Important: It is possible for several separate reports to be submitted for a single incident, which explains the high volume of calls on the lines.
Distribution of reports by category:
- Emergency medical assistance: 1977 reports
- Crimes against the person: 1695 reports
- Fires: 351 reports
- Traffic accidents: 288 reports
- Crimes against property: 145 reports
- Accidents: 50 reports
- Lost or distressed persons: 52 reports
- Disasters: 3 reports
Among the registered cases, there were also 13 reports of risky driving and street racing, as well as 4 calls related to illegal migrants or refugees. One emergency air medical assistance mission was also recorded.
