Over the past 24 hours, 53 fires were extinguished in the country, including those at the National Oncology Hospital and a hotel in Petrich. There were no casualties.

A total of 53 fires were extinguished in the country in the past 24 hours, with no casualties. This was announced by the General Directorate "Fire Safety and Protection of the Population" (GDPSPC).

Yesterday, a signal was received for a fire at the National Oncology Hospital - USBALO "Prof. Ivan Chernozemski" in Sofia. The fire broke out in a stationary hand dryer. 12 patients were evacuated, with no casualties.

On February 7, a fire signal was received at the fire station in Blagoevgrad for a fire in a hotel in Petrich. The team extinguished a fire in the kitchen aspiration system. Two families (a total of five people) were evacuated. There were no casualties.

Firefighters responded to 90 signals of incidents. 20 fires occurred with direct material damage. 33 fires occurred without material damage. 31 rescue operations were carried out. False alarms were six.
