Intensive work by fire departments
The General Directorate for Fire Safety and Civil Protection (GDFSCP) reported an extremely busy 24-hour period, during which teams extinguished 151 fires and responded to a total of 204 incident reports.
Incident statistics
- Injured: One person was injured in the fires that occurred.
- Material damage: 27 fires resulted in direct material damage. Among them, 7 were in residential buildings, 5 in auxiliary/temporary structures, and 6 in transport vehicles.
- No damage: 124 of the fires resulted in no serious material consequences.
Nearly 44 rescue activities and assistance operations were carried out by teams in the country over the past 24 hours.
The fire department also added that 9 cases of false alarms were registered.
