Firefighting units responded to 175 emergency calls over the past 24 hours, extinguishing a total of 137 fires. According to information from the General Directorate "Fire Safety and Civil Protection" – Ministry of Interior, as of 6:00 a.m. this morning, there are no reports of fatalities or injuries.
During this period, 32 rescue operations and assistance activities were carried out, seven of which were related to vehicle accidents. The remaining interventions were conducted during various incidents in cooperation with citizens and other agencies.
There were 26 fires that resulted in direct material damage. These are distributed across the following categories:
- 11 – in residential buildings;
- six – in vehicles;
- one – in an industrial building;
- one – in a forest area.
The remaining incidents, totaling 111 fires, did not cause direct material damage. Their distribution is as follows: 70 cases involved dry grass, forest litter, and shrubs; 35 fires occurred in waste; and one occurred in a stubble field.
