Bulgaria's interior ministry recorded 13 serious crashes across the country in the past 24 hours. Fifteen people were hurt and no one died, the ministry said on its website.
Two of the serious crashes happened in Sofia, where 27 minor crashes also left two people hurt.
Since the start of the month, 46 people have died on Bulgaria's roads and 786 have been hurt.
Since the start of 2026, 359 people have died and 6,364 have been hurt. Over the same period last year, 323 died — 36 fewer than this year.
