Athletes from the "Nesebar" Kickboxing Club brought home a total of 13 medals from a K-1 style kickboxing tournament held in Stara Zagora. The achievements include 1 gold, 6 silver, and 6 bronze medals, with the club's trainees preparing under the guidance of coaches Jordan Yankov and Sergey Gromak.
Alina Kolisnichenko won the gold medal in the junior girls category. Silver medals were earned by Aseniya Dimitrova and Adriana Aleksandrova in the girls category, Anastasia Soskina in the junior girls category, as well as Nazar Yakovlev, Timur Chernikov, and Dimitar Kolisnichenko in the boys age group.
Bronze medals were awarded to Danilo Matushin in the older boys category, Neli Kalugina and Angelina Omeliayanenko in the girls category, and Matvey Troyanov, Dima Vorobyov, and Mikhailo Trofimenko in the boys category.
"I congratulate the young competitors and their coaches for the exceptional spirit and willpower demonstrated at the tournament in Stara Zagora. These 13 medals are proof that with hard work, discipline, and dedication, success follows. The municipality will continue to actively support young talents so they can realize their sporting potential and continue to bring glory to Nesebar on national and international podiums," stated Mayor Nikolay Dimitrov.
