A 12-year-old boy is fighting for his life after an accident involving an electric scooter near the town of Nessebar. The tragic case, reported by a reporter from a major news agency, sheds light on the increasing risks associated with the use of these vehicles, especially among young people.

According to information provided by official sources, the accident occurred in the dark hours of the day, when the child, without a protective helmet, was operating the scooter on a bike path. This violation not only poses a risk to the child's safety, but also contradicts the legal provisions prohibiting children under 16 years of age from using electric scooters.

On the scene of the incident, law enforcement officers are present, conducting an investigation. The police suspect that the scooter is owned by the boy's father. The circumstances under which the child gained access to the vehicle, given the age restrictions for drivers, are yet to be clarified.

The child's condition remains critical. He is admitted to a hospital in the city of Burgas, where doctors are fighting for his life.

In the broadcast "The Day Begins", Dr. Svetoslav Todorov, Deputy Director of UMBAL-Burgas, provided up-to-date information on the injured person's condition. "The condition continues to be critical. The child is in a coma in the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care. Today, new imaging studies are planned to assess post-operatively how the injuries are occurring and whether there is a need for continued active surgical treatment. Yesterday afternoon, an operation was performed for a brain hemorrhage that had formed. It's too early for prognoses, the coming hours are critical," Dr. Todorov said. His words underscore the seriousness of the situation and the efforts of the medical team.

The air in the hospital is heavy with tension. Relatives of the injured child are waiting for news, hoping for a positive outcome. Currently, doctors are doing everything possible to stabilize the boy's condition. More hours of tension and hope lie ahead.

The live report was supplemented by the inclusion of Eleana Tsanova, who provided additional information on the development of the case.
