In an emotional statement after the match from the second round of the efbet League, coach Atanas Atanasov revealed details about the impressive victory of Dobrudzha over Slavia with 2:1. A key moment in the match was the red card received by Bogdan Kostov, which seriously complicated the team.
"Preliminary research showed weaknesses in Slavia's system, but our initial plan was disrupted due to the player's dismissal," Atanasov shared. He emphasized the exceptional self-sacrifice of the players, who managed to cope with the challenge, demonstrating an extraordinary collective spirit.
The coach openly shared his philosophy for team development: "Our goal is building and continuously improving our level in the efbet League. Every victory is a bonus for players who must continue to improve". Atanasov categorically stated that he does not like excessive praise, but values strict task execution.
Analyzing the match, the coach admitted that the team makes mistakes, but this time the opponent failed to capitalize on them. Unlike the loss to Lokomotiv Plovdiv, this time Dobrudzha demonstrated exceptional character, especially after being reduced to ten players.
