Match of Hope: When sport becomes a symbol of good

On June 6 at 5:00 PM, the "Lazur" stadium in Burgas will turn into an arena for a different kind of battle – the fight for life. The second edition of the charity "Match of Hope," organized by the Stiliyan Petrov Foundation, brings together great names in sports to support people fighting cancer.

"I am proud that Burgas will be the host. Let us prove that when we are together, hope becomes stronger than any diagnosis!" stated Mayor Dimitar Nikolov.

Who will step on the pitch?

We will see a truly star-studded lineup of legends and beloved athletes on the pitch:

  • Football icons: Stiliyan Petrov, Dimitar Berbatov, Martin Petrov.
  • Burgas favorites: Stoyko Sakaliev, Zlatko Yankov, Georgi Chilikov, Radostin Kishishev, Dimitar Dimitrov – Hero.
  • International guests: Joe Hart and Wes Brown.
  • Athletes: Teodor Salparov and Ivet Lalova.

Causes and support

All funds raised during the event will be distributed to:

  • Supporting the Complex Oncology Center in Burgas.
  • The treatment of football legends Petar Hubchev and Lyuboslav Penev.
  • Direct assistance for cancer patients across the country.

You can purchase tickets online via Eventim.bg or at physical ticket offices (OMV gas stations, Technopolis, etc.). For those who cannot attend, virtual tickets are available, as well as the option to donate via SMS with the text DMS STAN to number 17 777.
