European Commissioner for Startups, Innovation and Research, Ekaterina Zaharieva, and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Innovation and Growth, Tomislav Donchev, will launch a round table dedicated to the topic "Women in Innovation".

The event, organized by the "Ladies' Forum" association, will be held on October 30th at the Planet Schwarz Tech Theater. The atmosphere around was already visibly heating up the expectations for the upcoming event.

Ekaterina Zaharieva will actively participate in the discussion as a key panelist. Her partner in the debate will be the President of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS), Evelina Slavcheva.

The event is structured around two main panels. The business panel, entitled "Women Behind Bold Ideas", will be moderated by Boyko Takov, Executive Director of the Executive Agency for the Promotion of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (IASME). At the same time, the discussion "The Future in Science and Technology" will be led by Diana Aladzhova, a partner at "Silverline Capital".

The Chairman of the Management Board of the Association, Diana Miteva, highlighted the organization's priorities: "The main focus of the "Ladies' Forum" association is the empowerment of modern women - in the form of mentoring, through educational formats for development in and of business, by promoting their financial independence and, of course, through shared knowledge from the best examples in our country and around the world".

The round table is the latest initiative that the "Ladies' Forum" organizes to highlight key topics from modern public life. Following successful conferences such as the one under the motto "Women on Boards of Directors" with special guest Cherie Blair, the subsequent annual conference entitled "The Power of Diversity: to change stereotypes" with guest the European Commissioner for Equality Helena Dalli, and the #Findependent conference, the focus now falls on innovation and the role of Bulgarian women in placing the country on the world map in the field of business and science, the organizers share.
