Several Burgas residents contacted the editorial office about an airplane performing repeated circles over the city. "What is this strange airplane that has already flown over 'Meden Rudnik' for the fourth time?", asks our reader Ivan, who also sent photographic material.
What We Know So Far
According to the sent images, the aircraft describes recurring circles and oval trajectories over Burgas Bay and the area around the airport, passing several times over the "Meden Rudnik" neighborhood.
Possible Explanations
Without official confirmation, the exact purpose of the flight cannot be specified. In practice, such routes are often associated with crew training approaches, navigation system calibration, aerial photography and mapping, test flights after maintenance, or coastal observation.
