Drivers on the Trakia highway must be extremely cautious over the next two days, as large-scale road safety restoration activities will be carried out. Experts from the Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA) will work on the safety barriers in two key sections.
The specific intervention zones include sections from the 23rd to the 43rd kilometer towards Plovdiv and from 0 to the 10th kilometer towards Sofia. The work will be carried out in the time range from 9:00 to 16:00, with technical activities planned on the emergency lane.
An important warning from road specialists is for drivers to exercise maximum attention. Traffic will continue to flow through the active and overtaking lanes, without forced stopping. The RIA management strongly appeals to all traffic participants to observe the established speed limits and avoid risky maneuvers.
