A fire broke out in a building of the National Company "Railway Infrastructure" in the village of Valchin, Sungurlare municipality, the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior in Burgas announced.

They specify that it is an unusable canton, and the fire started from the second floor of the building. The incident happened yesterday, and the fire alarm was filed around 9:30 am.

It was established that access to the canton was gained after breaking the entrance door, and part of the floor covering type "parquet" was set on fire in one of the rooms. As a result of the fire, only material damage was inflicted, with no data on injured people.

A pre-trial proceeding has been initiated in the case, which should clarify the causes and circumstances of the fire, as well as the possible perpetrators of the act.

The police also report another fire that happened yesterday. Around 3:30 pm, a signal was received that a room in the building of "Information Services", located on Yanko Komitov Street in Burgas, was on fire.

According to the tenant, the cause of the incident was a short circuit in a heating "blower". The flames destroyed musical equipment worth 15,000 leva, which was stored in the room.
