The Mathematics of the Road: A Lesson in Safety and Knowledge for Third Graders

With an interesting, unconventional lesson in Mathematics and Road Safety – “Mathematics on the Road” the students of the 3rd "a" grade of the Primary School "St. St. Cyril and Methodius" – Sveti Vlas delighted their parents and guests in the form of teachers and the principal of the school. The third graders showed that they know the basic elements of the road and their measurement, as well as the basic road signs. The children solved practical problems about distances and time, and mastered the mathematical algorithm of 4 steps for safe crossing.

They promised to use the exact science to protect themselves and others on the road, and also to be careful, responsible and smart participants in traffic, because they learned that mathematics not only solves problems – it saves lives!

The pupils of Kindergarten "Detski svyat" – Kosharitsa, together with their parents, embarked on an exciting initiative on the occasion of the Day of the Christian Family – making a frame for a family photo. On the festive day, the children also visited the local church "St. Ivan Rilski".
