Kostadin Kostadinov, leader of "Vazrazhdane" (Revival), called for the appointment of a caretaker government as quickly as possible and the holding of elections on March 29th, while it is still possible.

According to him, anything else will create the impression of backroom deals with GERB and "DPS - New Beginning." Kostadinov emphasized that it is not good to give the fourth mandate to these parties, as this would allow them to continue their work.

The leader of "Vazrazhdane" stated that if President Rumen Radev wanted early elections, he should have formed a caretaker cabinet as quickly as possible. In addition, Kostadinov expressed the opinion that the bill for changes to the Election Code should not be voted on, and called on the future president Iliana Iotova to veto it.

Kostadinov noted that the "kicking the can down the road" regarding the formation of a caretaker government is unacceptable and that "Vazrazhdane" will not allow "another rape of Bulgarian democracy." He explained that the pressure for changes to the Election Code comes from parties like "There is Such a People" and "BSP - United Left," which rely on manipulations to survive in the next elections.
