On April 7th at 7:00 PM on the stage of the Puppet Theatre - Burgas, the premiere of the play “Private Screening” will take place, presented by the Bulgarian Army Theatre and the cultural organization “Art Atelier 77”. The production is based on a text by Rémy de Vos, directed by Boil Banov, who is also the author of the musical arrangement. The scenography and costumes are by Yuliana Voykova – Nayman, and the translation is by Svetlana Pancheva. The play features Georgi Kirkelanov, Gergana Pletnyova, and Stefka Yanorova.

“Private Screening” is a tragic farce that focuses on modern man and his dependence on television, which has become an integral part of everyday life and even a third member of the family. The production presents a world in which reality and illusion collide with absurd force, and happiness seems within arm's reach – just a button press away. With much humor, irony, and a sharp social message, the play reveals the emptiness behind seemingly normal conversations, love drowned in commercials, and tragedy turned into a spectacle. Words fly like slaps, emotions move between tenderness and hysteria, and laughter erupts where it is least expected. This is a performance that does not leave the audience indifferent, but rather draws them into a dynamic and chaotic world where the remote control becomes a weapon, and the truth sounds so ridiculous that it resembles a fiction.
