Musical Excitement in Burgas: “Solisimi” Returns!

The third edition of the Youth Music Festival “Solisimi” will transform the Culture House NHK in Burgas into a center of art between May 7 and 9. The organizers from the “Solinaria” Foundation have prepared three unforgettable concert evenings that will fill the audience with emotions and talent.

“Solisimi” is not just a festival, but a platform for meeting between young talents and established masters of the stage.

Here’s what awaits you in the program:

  • May 7: EUphonia – A Meeting of Classical and Contemporary. The opening will present a unique combination of world classics and new Bulgarian music. You will hear premiere works by Petya Tovarva and Borislava Taneva, performed by the Chamber Orchestra – Haskovo, conducted by Tsanislav Petkov.
  • May 8: Resonance of Strings and Keys. An evening dedicated to the magic of the violin and piano. The recital of Olga Doykova and Philip Iliev with accompanist Planinka Karagyozova will present new works by Penka Kuneva and Georgi Arnaudov.
  • May 9: Film Without a Name – Musical Screens. A grand finale dedicated to world and Bulgarian film music. With the participation of soloists and the symphony orchestra from NUMSI “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov”, conducted by Petya Toncheva, the magic of cinema will be experienced through sound.

The festival traditionally encourages young musicians from national art schools to share the stage with professionals, while giving new life to Bulgarian compositional work.
