The characters from "Friends" will live in 1990s Bulgaria in a new show by stand-up comedian Georgi Kyuchukov-Zhoro. He will present it on 10 November at Burgas's NHK.
Doors open at 18:30 and the show starts at 19:00. Organisers do not recommend it for anyone under 16.
Monica, Rachel, Phoebe, Ross, Joey and Chandler are the leads of the sitcom created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman. Kyuchukov puts them in everyday Bulgarian life and tells their stories as they would have played out here.
Organisers say it is the first stand-up show of its kind. They believe viewers do not need to know the series well to laugh. The comedian, they say, finds what is typical in Bulgarian life and culture and turns it into jokes.
