Repair of the joints of the bridge over the Veleka River on the Burgas - Malko Tarnovo road until July 11
The Road Agency announces upcoming repairs to the expansion joints on the bridge over the Veleka River along the first-class road I-9 Burgas - Malko Tarnovo. The construction and installation works will be carried out until July 11, with traffic passing in one lane in both directions, regulated by traffic lights.
Continuous progress of the repair of the Danube Bridge near Ruse
The major repair of the 320-meter section of the Danube Bridge near Rousse in the direction of Bulgaria is progressing according to plan. 63 old road panels have already been dismantled, and 27 new ones have been installed, bringing the total number to 544 panels. The work also includes the replacement of drainage systems, reinforced concrete panels, and anti-corrosion coating.
Rail transport – a key element in the modernization of public transport
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and Communications Grozdan Karadjov announced that a procedure is forthcoming to divide the railway network into three regions, with the aim of stimulating competition in the sector. The new operators will take over the services currently offered by the state operator, with a smooth transition and without affecting passengers.
Restrictions on traffic on the Struma motorway in Pernik due to repair work
From 20 to 30 June, there will be traffic restrictions in the lane for Kula from km 22 to km 24 on the Struma highway in Pernik region due to road surface repair. Traffic will be diverted in both directions in the lane for Sofia, and the speed limit will be 90 km/h.

Repair of an overpass on the Trakia Motorway restricts traffic in the direction of Burgas.
From June 18 to June 27, traffic will be restricted in the direction of Burgas on a section from km 157 to km 162 of the Trakia Motorway due to repair work on the overpass over the Sofia-Burgas railway line. Drivers must drive carefully and follow the road signs.

On June 17 and 18, there will be changes in the organization of traffic in two sections of the "Struma" motorway in Pernik region. Drivers must drive with increased caution and comply with the speed limit of 90 km/h.
The Municipality of Pomorie is expanding paid parking in the city.
Pomorie introduces a new "Short-term Paid Parking Zone" with an expanded scope, including a number of streets in the city. Parking will be paid for during specified hours, and improperly parked vehicles will be penalized. Municipal parking lots also operate under a paid system with fixed prices.
Solar power plant powers electric buses in Burgas
The Burgas municipal transport operator "Burgasbus" EOOD has built a photovoltaic power plant on the territory of its bus depot. It provides electricity for charging 34 solo and 10 articulated electric buses serving the city lines. The 990 kWp power plant is connected to the power grid, with the surplus of generated electricity being sold.

Effective June 15, the movement of fast train No. 2616 on the Gorna Oryahovitsa - Sofia North section will be discontinued. Passengers heading to Sofia will be served by international fast train No. 461 departing from Bucharest.

The Bulgarian Civil Aviation Administration has called on local airlines to suspend their flights to the Middle East region due to the increasing instability in the area. Airlines must assess the risk and present their decision by mid-June.

The Road Infrastructure Agency has completed the safety measures on 14 out of the 36 road sections identified as risky due to a concentration of traffic accidents. The activities include pavement repair, installation of road signs and markings, as well as other measures to improve safety on these sections.
