The charitable organization "Dog Shadow" from Sveti Vlas is dedicated to caring for stray animals along the Black Sea coast. Over the past two years, they have sterilized a total of 830 cats and kittens, saving them from street life. At the same time, the association has found new homes and sent a total of 215 animals to Germany, including 55 dogs and 160 cats.
Daily, the volunteers from "Dog Shadow" provide food and water for hundreds of stray cats along the coast. The organization works in synergy with the local people, with some seeking help and others voluntarily joining the cause. Some prefer to act independently, while others feel more confident as part of a team.
The representative of the association shares that she is happy to be part of "this other life on the coast" - to be the "postman" who distributes aid from one place to another. Behind all these efforts are the funds of donors, which have been spent to support those who cannot help themselves.
