Course in Graphic Design for Young People and Students in Burgas: Design Class

A graphic design course for young people and students will start on April 18th in the Community Center "Asen Zlatarov 1940" in Burgas.

"Design Class: Design Basics + Zine Lab" is a practical course, suitable for students from the last high school classes and students, whether they are just entering the world of design or already have an interest in the visual arts. Within the program, participants will get acquainted with the basics of graphic design - composition, typography and visual thinking - and will work on their own projects in areas such as branding, editorial and social media design.

The focus of this year's edition is the creation of zines - small author's editions, in which participants will collect their ideas, designs and illustrations, going through the entire process - from concept to finished product.

The classes will be held every Saturday in the period April 18 - May 9, 2026, as the course gives participants the opportunity to develop practical skills, to build first projects for their portfolio and to understand whether graphic design is a direction for their future education and professional development.

In addition to the training, Design Class creates an environment for meetings between young people with common interests, encouraging the exchange of ideas and the building of a local youth creative community.

The course is realized in partnership with the Community Center "Asen Zlatarov 1940" Burgas.
