Burgas Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov University is opening a branch in Dobrich to train nurses. The official opening will be on 19 October at 1pm.

Dobrich council actively backed the plan and helped set up the branch. Representatives of national and local government also took part in the work.

The new branch will let people in the region train as future medical staff. It is expected to help ease the shortage of health workers.

On 13 October we reported that the university will host the sixth Autumn Medical Forum on 20 and 21 November in its main hall. Trakya University in Edirne has joined as a co-organiser.

Guests from national and local government, as well as from hospitals and clinics, are expected at the opening ceremony.
