Bulgarian animation production will make an impressive accent during the prestigious European film forum in Japan. On July 30, 2025, a large-scale international screening of two unique films will start, which will be shown in Tokyo, Fukuoka, and Kyoto.

The specially selected works include "The Artist's Daughter" - an innovative project developed with the help of artificial intelligence, and "Family Portrait of the Black Earth", based on a literary story by Yordanka Baleva. Film screenings are planned for July 30, 2, 3, and 6 as part of EU Film Days.

The participation represents a significant achievement for the national film industry, demonstrating both technological advancement and artistic creativity. The event is shaping up to be an important platform for international promotion of Bulgarian contemporary animation art.
