The ancient Black Sea city of Sozopol is preparing for a large-scale celebration dedicated to Saint Marina - the spiritual guardian of local residents and protector of marine spaces. The official holiday program covers the period from July 16 to 18 and offers various initiatives for locals and tourists.

The morning hours are marked by spiritual rituals. At 08:00, a solemn liturgy will be held at the "St. Marina" location, followed by a swimming marathon that starts from the fishing port and passes around the coastal island. At 12:30, a water blessing is planned to bless the festive tables.

The cultural program includes children's art events at Han Krum Square at 18:00, which will entertain the youngest participants. The culmination of the holiday is the evening concert-performance "Sing Heart" featuring the popular performer Georgi Hristov at the Summer Theater.

The celebrations will end with an impressive fireworks display over the seashore at 22:00, which will illuminate the festive mood. The organizers aim to preserve the authentic local traditions and emphasize the spiritual connection between Sozopol and its celestial patron.

The holiday represents a unique combination of religious ceremonies, sporting challenges, and artistic performances that attract both local residents and numerous guests.
