Changes in the Varna municipal administration
With an order issued today, the Mayor of Varna, Blagomir Kotsev, officially dismissed Deputy Mayor Iliya Koev from his position.
Koev was responsible for key areas in the municipality, including security, ecology, and sports infrastructure.

Up until this moment, Iliya Koev managed the following directorates and municipal enterprises:
- "Security Management and Public Order Control"
- "Ecology and Environmental Protection"
- "Prevention"
- "Sports"
- Municipal enterprises "Sports - Varna" and "Parking and Blue Zone"
What comes next?
The dismissal order takes effect immediately. Currently, Koev's portfolios are being taken over personally by Mayor Blagomir Kotsev until a new deputy mayor is selected and appointed for these sectors.
